Do you only work with Microsoft Azure?
Azure is my specialism, backed by certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert and DevOps Engineer Expert. I also have experience with Google Cloud. I recommend what fits your organisation and existing environment.
What is Infrastructure as Code and why does it matter?
With Infrastructure as Code you define servers, networks and databases in code instead of configuring them by hand. Every environment becomes reproducible, changes become reviewable and you recover faster after a mistake.
Can you take over or improve an existing environment?
Yes. I start by reviewing the current setup, costs and security, then improve step by step, for example by automating deployments first and adding monitoring.
